About Reframify Kids
What We Do
Reframify Kids is a UK-based online children's optician providing prescription glasses for children aged 3–16. We combine the convenience of online ordering with the clinical oversight that children's eyewear demands under UK law.
Every single order placed through Reframify Kids is reviewed by a registered Dispensing Optician (DO) before it proceeds to dispatch. If an order raises concerns — about the prescription, the frame choice, or the lens suitability — the DO can place it on hold or reject it. Your payment is not captured until the order is approved.
Child-Focused Eyewear
Children's vision correction is not the same as adult glasses. The General Optical Council (GOC) requires additional clinical supervision for under-16 dispensing. Our process is built around that requirement from the ground up — not retrofitted to it.
We work exclusively with frame ranges designed and approved for children: robust materials, secure fits, appropriate sizes for developing faces. All lens options available through our platform have been selected for suitability in paediatric dispensing.
How We Work
Online Selection
Parents browse and select frames, enter prescription details, and choose lens options. Our configurator validates prescription ranges and flags edge cases.
DO Review
Every order goes to a registered Dispensing Optician for clinical review before any payment is captured or any lens is cut.
Professional Glazing
Approved orders are passed to our UK optical lab partner for precision glazing by qualified technicians.
Safe Delivery
Completed glasses are dispatched and arrive typically within 5–7 working days of DO approval.
